Antioxidant masterbatches are used to prevent thermal degradation and reduce degradation (oxidation) in polymer products. Antioxidants are divided into two categories. The primary category that increases the lifespan of the final product. The secondary category, which improves the process during production, and these antioxidants are used especially in cases where the product is exposed to heat at different stages during production and more than once.
