The slip masterbatch is used to reduce the resistance of the film to slip on itself or parts of the equipment. Polymeric surfaces often have friction, which causes problems during the production and processes of winding film rolls, bag production and packaging. The use of smoothing masterbatch causes polishing, increasing the quality of the film surface, reducing waste and also reducing the depreciation of the production equipment.
These masterbatches are used in products with PE, PP, PET bases and thin films, normal and thick films, agricultural films and polyolefins. Lubricating masterbatch works by first transferring to the surface and reducing friction. The larger the particles, the greater their anti-sticking effect.
